Traditional IRAs allow contribution of 100% of compensation (self-employment income for sole proprietors and partners) up to a set maximum dollar amount. Contributions to the Traditional IRA may be tax deductible depending on the taxpayer's income, tax filing status and coverage by an employer-sponsored retirement plan. A major benefit of Traditional IRAs is that contributions can be made to the account which are considered fully deductible, meaning all contributions are tax-deferred until they are withdrawn.

Rate current as of 2/07/2025 and may change after opening the account.

Roth IRAs are similar to the Traditional IRA, but contributions are not tax deductible. Therefore, qualified distributions are tax free. As with other retirement plan accounts, non-qualified distributions may be subject to a penalty upon withdrawal.
