Overdraft Protection is offered to Shell FCU members at no charge as a safety net for members. In the event you write a check or present your debit card for a purchase amount that exceeds the current balance in your checking account and your account has been set up for overdraft protection, funds pulled from your source account(s) will be used to cover that purchase. The types of accounts used as source accounts include: savings accounts, money market accounts or line of credit loans. For more information about how overdraft protection can help you, please contact a Member Services Representative.
Once your account is at least 60 days old and you have maintained your account in “good standing”, you may qualify for Overdraft Privilege. Find out how Overdraft Privilege works.
