Members who want their paycheck electronically deposited into their account should provide the following information to your employer. (Please note: Some companies are not able to provide this service).
Routing Number: 3 1 3 0 8 0 6 3 6
Account Number: If your account was opened before April 2006, you will recognize your account number as a 2-5 digit number followed by the suffix (for example: 12345 00); If however your account was opened after April 2006, your account number is a number generated by the system.
Safe deposit boxes are available in four different sizes, each of which is 24” deep. Fees are debited annually from your share account. Senior citizens enjoy a 10% discount on the rates below:

Shell FCU can send and receive electronic wires through the Federal Reserve. In order to send funds to a Shell FCU account you will need the following information:
- Institution Name: Shell Federal Credit Union
- ABA Routing Number: 3 1 3 0 8 0 6 3 6
- Member Account Number: for older member numbers be sure to include the suffix (for example: 12345 00 - indicates savings account; 12345 51 – checking account); accounts opened since April 2006 will not have suffix endings..
Wires can be sent over the phone without requiring a signature. Members can call the main line at (713) 844-1100 to send an electronic wire.
To expedite the wire transfer process for phone, fax or mail transfers, please select a wire PIN/Password. To set up your PIN/password, you can print this form Wire / PIN number request form, complete and return to SFCU either in person or by mail.
Instead of a PIN/Password, we can also do a call back verification. So make sure we have your current contact information. And we can take care of your wire transfers at any branch location if you visit us in person.

Western Union services are available to anyone; you do not have to be a Shell FCU member to use their services. Non-members must, however, stop by “in person” since personal information is required to complete a transaction; Shell FCU members can authorize Western Union transfers by calling the Credit Union at 713.844.1100.
As a service to members your Member Services Representative can notarize your important documents at no cost to you.
Cashier’s checks are available for $1.00 each and Money Orders are available for $.50 each.
American Express Traveler’s Cheques are available in the following denominations: $20, $50, $100, $500. They come pre-packaged.

- Double signature cheques, also known as “Cheques for Two”, the fee is $2.00 per $100 value.
For $2.50 each American Express Gift Checks are available. The denominations are: $25, $50, $100.

With Visa gift cards, you can set the dollar amount of the card (minimum $10). $2.00 per card.
Series EE and I US Savings Bonds are available in several different denominations. Shell FCU can also redeem old savings bonds. This service is available to non credit union members also.
Once you are a member at Shell FCU you can take your membership card or a transaction receipt and purchase a Sam’s Club membership.
The State of Texas has authorized Shell FCU to sell various hunting and fishing licenses. For cost information, please call the credit union or stop by the Special Services desk at any branch location.
